How do you conflate that with me saying we will have to work out the technicalities and processes of repatriation?

There seems to be quite a large gap between the 2 concepts.

Oh absolutely. Work camps.

Since MAGA doesnt understand conservative economics, the only thing you people can even think of is "trade wars."

I’d expect Colombia to dig in and restrict all flights from the US in the coming days.

Gonna be real interesting. The obviously need us far more than we need them

I'm pretty sure all the admin had to do was work out the transition process for the Colombians. We're likely going to have to do this with multiple nations (including China). It's not normal practice for countries to just dump deportees into another country. They have mutual agreements on how to make the process efficient and effective with as little friction or uncertainty as possible.

We had an agreement with Columbia and they just broke the agreement. Now trump is going to cripple them for it.

Dishonest arse media. It's not retaliation, it's response and it's very different.

I have no problem with calling this retaliation. Let them pretend people are disgusted.

I fully support these actions.

Crushing" Pan American countries just means you'll end up with many of their people in the USA.

Colombia can capitulate and accept the repatriation or they can engage in a protracted trade war with the US. If you were in charge of Colombia which would you choose?

SPOILER ALERT: There won't be a trade war.

He is going to be chronically depressed! It be nice if he moved to Canada (along with SlowModeFlow) and take advantage of their novel euthanasia program.

Yet they can just empty their prisons and send them packing to the US? There is no normal practice for any of this shite. They're your people, it's your fricking problem.

Notice the Colombian president didn't say "they're not Colombians" he just said "we don't fricking want them". That's not a choice these foreign countries get to make.
