Except when he does. He was, literally, interviewed on Fox by Harris Faulkner on womens' issues, in front of a completely female audience at around the same time yesterday of the Baier/Harris interview.

She looked and sounded like a straight-up bitch. I wish Brett wouldn't have interrupted her, but he really didn't have a choice. She would have rambled on and he would only been able to ask one question before they threw in the towel. In the other thread about Brett prior to the interview, I said that I would wait and see to pass judgment on him. He very much surprised me in a good way.

You thought that was the same kind of interview? You thought Faulkner legitimately tried to challenge Trump? Did you watch it? It was the same softballs followed by the same rambling incoherent crap from Trump. And it wasn't on "women's issues"...most of it he talked about immigration and rambling non-answers on tech / musk.
The way you all talk about interviews indicates you have the wrong idea of what an interviewer is supposed to do. An interview isn't to "body" the guest. This (apparently) is supposed to be journalism, and the goal is for the American public to learn more about a candidate and their ideas.
Baier / Fox is clearly the lions den for Harris, and they immediately tried to discredit her and catch her in "gotcha" moments with bad faith questions and dishonest talking points - like how they tried to downplay and sanewash trump's unhinged "enemy within" rhetoric.
You all were watching this interview because you hate Harris and wanted to see "HARRIS DESTROYED IN DISASTROUS DEBATE," so that's what you saw.

That was her plan all along. Ramble on with memorized lines about Donald Trump. Glad to see he pushed back against those plans. He had to interrupt her, he had no other choice.
