Most Americans have almost no concern over the ins and outs of politics like people on this board. They know that Vance is the subject of a successful Hollywood movie and that is a net positive for them. Schumer knows this as well, which is why he thinks Vance is a bad pick.

Schumer went to Harvard and Harvard Law. Upon graduation, he was elected to the New York State Assembly. Thereafter he was a U.S. Representative for several different gerrymandered NY congressional districts for twenty years. He’s been a member of the Senate for the last 25 years. Fifty years as a New York politician. I couldn’t imagine anyone I’d trust less.
