Here’s a recent comparison.

quote:

Malik D. Turner, of St. Paul, was sentenced Tuesday in Ramsey County District Court to an 18-year term after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the death on Aug. 12 of 21-year-old Devon L. Goode, of St. Paul. With credit for four months in jail since his arrest, Turner will first serve nearly 12 years in prison and the balance of his term on supervised release. He’s also been ordered to pay $74,000 in restitution. The fatal shot pierced both of Goodes’ lungs and his heart, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. He also had bruises to his left cheek and jaw. Witnesses told police several people were playing dice outside, and an armed Turner exited a car that pulled up next to them and demanded their money.

No it was worth about 15 minutes. The world needs fewer violent drug addicts.

Putting a value on George Floyd’s life: Sisyphean task, at best…

George would have not lived the day if Chauvin was a mile away and never saw George that day

I’d like to ask mr Jones how much George Floyd thought George Floyd’s life was worth. Because the way he acted, consumed drugs etc, he didn’t value it much.

While the family and supporters wanted more, they were pretty satisfied with the sentence.

So one guy on CNN said he wanted a longer sentence and we have an entire thread about it? Wake me up when there's actually something to talk about.

Imagine what CNN thinks a person’s sentence should be if that person’s directives led to many retirement home deaths.

frick you van Jones. We know plenty of thugs that get a slap on the wrist for real murder. California let a bunch of murderers out recently.

What a piece of shite

Given the choice of $27million or a live St. George his own family would have said their goodbyes.

George Floyd's life wasn't worth 15 cents, if we're being honest.

An honest moderator/host would have responded with something along the lines of "like whom and what did they do". But...

This... is CNN.

It's strange that you would say this when I just heard an audio clip from the judge claiming that he gave him an extra 10 years. Who's full of shite? You or the judge?
