I was taught to be respectful growing up, so I use ma'am and sir all time. To make sure I do not offend anyone, I just don't talk to androgynous "people". I get to maintain social decorum, and the mentally ill have one less thing to complain about. It's a win-win.

We have folks like that who post on this board. They are the biggest enemy we face in the world.
I want so bad to go mano a mano with everyone of them in a no weapons Sonic showdown. Just toy with them and rough them up a little. Sling them around a little and atomic weggie them into sky screaming fits of anger. Sit across their chest and grab their wrist and make them hit themselves while laughing and saying “man I know you are a degenerate loser but quit hitting yourself.”
