Mark is talking about the SAVE Act. It has over 80% support and 93% support from Republicans and 71% support from Democrats.

Well, all Democrats are Democrat, socialist, or communist. Only a few Republicans are actually conservative or even "republican"

In this political game they play, Dems are the Globe Trotters and the GOP plays the Generals.

In the Uniparty, the job of the GOP is to give the illusion to the conservatives, which is the majority of the country, that they represent them. When, in reality, they are helping push the country towards socialism.

When the GOP is in the minority, they give fiery speeches, write strongly worded letters, and make campaign promises about what they’ll do when they get back in power. They love a good fundraiser.

So, we vote for them because it’s better than the alternative. When they get in power? Their job is to run out the clock while passing as little as possible that changes what the Dems set up.

As much as I despise what the Dems stand for, I admire how they get shite done.

It’s much easier to push policy when you don’t have to answer whether or not you’ve stopped beating your wife

Correct.

The GOPe is just controlled opposition to win elections in red districts.

The issue goes all the way down to the state and local levels with the GOP which itself is very tightly controlled to prevent quality candidates from ever getting elected and immediately works to co-opt or destroy them if they are.

It’s infuriating

Congress seems to have forgotten they represent the people, and instead are representing their own interests and the interests of the elite few billionaires and corporations
