So call one side Nazis while actually doing what the Nazis did. Have the friends, neighbors, etc turn people in for being Jewish or "wrong think." Then use propaganda phrases to encourage compliance in turning people in.

When they find out that their leftist herd is devoid of guns, they might think twice about taking on the right, who probably, at minimum, have 5 guns in each conservative home.

Solid plan. About 15-20 years ago, it was either History or Discovery channel, or one of their off-shoots had a reality show about “preppers” preparing for Armageddon. I remember the featured prepper was stocking up on everything except weapons, so my plan was simply to stock up on guns and ammo and just kill the preppers for their goods when the fit hits the shan.
