Do you have some familiarity with Minneapolis juries that you are not sharing? I suspect that, unfortunately, the entire courtroom could sit in silence for two weeks, not present any evidence at all, and the jury would gladly return a guilty verdict.

This ^^^^ is one good reason why Chauvin should get the lesser of all charges brought against him if not the whole case dismissed. How can anyone get a fair trial when the city is paying a settlement to the deceased’s family?

He will be acquitted because he SHOULD be acquitted. This entire George Floyd saga is complete bullshite. This has nothing to do with race to me as it is police having to do a job that any choice they make now is wrong no matter what. Could things have been handled differently? Yeah maybe so but that’s a slippery slope. They have to deal with shite all day long and more and more people are acting aggressive towards cops now that the media makes them out to be terrorists which only inflames the situation. Also let’s just be honest, George Floyd was no alter boy and it’s a fact he had what could be considered a lethal amount of drugs in his system so just that fact is enough for reasonable doubt.

Well, Chauvin is innocent until proven guilty. The toxicology reports state that Chauvin was overdosed on fentanyl. Side effects are trouble breathing. He basically admitted that himself. If they riot, frick em let the city burn.

You do realize that George Floyd was cuffed on the ground and essentially pinned by the car tire? At that point, drugs or no drugs , he as a threat was neutralized. Chauvin did not need to have his knee on the guy's neck. There were 4 cops around him he wasn't going anywhere . The cops actions were gratuitous.
