His diatribe against an increasingly popular and efficacious ObamaCare was breathtakingly stupid.

You can’t even make sense of the shite you post.

Ron should have waited to run and he would still be highly thought of and respected

No melting, you just seem to be extraordinarily confident that trump will pick haley as vp. I am giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your confidence with tangible assets. You game?

DeSantis’ disastrous campaign was a preemptive hit on DeSantis’ future as a MAGA candidate

While the idea of sabotage can't be ignored (it was done to Trump from every angle in his first term), Desantis isn't MAGA or America First.

So, unless you think these people convinced him to change who he is (which would be a major problem in and of itself), Desantis just isn't a victim.

DeSantis supporters prefer him because of how he has run the state of Florida and in spite of the shitty campaign he has run.

...this is new. Most Desantis supporters do not admit this.

DJ actually has a love-hate relationship with Trump. It’s weighted towards hate, but still technically labeled love-hate nonetheless. There are many more wise thoughts in there than your typical Desantis loyalist.

DeSantis wasn’t smart enough to see this and stop it before his entire campaign became a laughing stock?

Cmon man. He got sucked in by the elites. They wanted to be hitched to Ron’s wagon under the promise that he could be the foil to Trump. He wanted their donors’ money and networks. He thought he could have it both ways.

He should have fired everyone when people like Paul Ryan and Jeb appeared out of fricking nowhere and started complimenting him.

That's not my impression although he has said for a while he'd vote for Trump and that Trump would win.

But, he's an election fraud denier and a true Trump hater.

I think they pressured him up to and including warning that “you won’t have our support either now or in 2028 unless you go at it now.” Yes because at least in large part because they saw Desantis as a viable foil, as you stated, to Trump.

And of course they vastly underestimated him and the extent of his support yet again.

It will be interesting to see who Trump runs against when DeSantis drops out.

towards Trump supporters with the “listless vessels” commentary right out in the open without pause or concern…..a blunder in a class of its own.

It’s amazing the disconnect you all have with reality.

Ask ten people who don’t hang out on a political forum all day (the vast majority of society) what the significance of the term “listless vessels” is. You won’t find 75% of the people able to answer it. And you think it was some catastrophic blunder.

The largest and most important blunder DeSantis made was running against a guy being indicted for bullshite charges by Marxists. That’s it.

The GOPe is so out of touch, they thought fronting their typical bullshite with Ron would fool people who are so angry that they were willing to vote for Donald Trump.

When you say “independently” do you mean “without bias?” Because I would agree with that notion, but I don’t think I could find a single person who participates on this board who has no bias, at least in terms of the named candidates and other specific individuals who are routinely discussed amongst us.

No. I mean that he can’t hear of something happening and then decide what it means or whether or not it’s good without getting his marching orders from Truth Social. He’s the poster child for listless vessels.
