It's understood. It's not complicated. Many (like me) are simply not impressed and don't see a misguided hissy fit as the way to actually do something about permanent Washington.

Yep, we have an issue as states in not using their checks and balances.
If DC does not balance the budget ever, it is the states that have to bring that into the constitution. Nothing but a balanced budget is allowed.
