So many people are having such a hard time understanding Trump’s playbook, even though he does it almost every single time in every scenario.
He says or does something way outside of the Overton Window, as both a negotiating tactic and a way to break the existing leftwing narrative, and then the matter lands in the comfortable middle place where it should have been all along.
