I would like to think that this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back for the citizens of the UK and they revolt, but alas.....

Moderates of TD

Will y’all finally drop the bullshite and join us on the far right when our Gov does this?

Idk what y’all are waiting for, but that would be a good time to do it.

It is inevitable. There's just too much benefit for the government. Our best bet is to fight for strong (as in, consitutional) protections against the truly nefarious uses that are also inevitable.

To be fair, anyone who has an driver's license, passport or just state ID in this country already has their ID in a digital database controlled by the government. We silently capitulated to this stuff a long time ago.

MANDATORY for their Citizens

What about all their middle eastern inhabitants?

They were the engine used to drive them to the Digital ID.

See, now they need Digital ID because of all the migrants.

Doubtful. The Marxist playbook has been executed successfully for over a century in the UK. Slowly over time, they have been taken over by it's principles and now they are in one of the final stages: Demoralization

Part of the demoralization period is to attack native culture and religion and demonize it. One of the tactics that is called for is unfettered migration to help achieve that goal. Right now, the muslim hoard is their useful tool in this stage.

They have been indoctrinated to give up real, viable methods to fight what they are up against currently. They don't have any weapons to keep their own government from becoming the dictatorial socialist tyrant that it has become, and all of the politicians from the "conservatives' to the "liberals" are all on the socialist side of the spectrum. In other words, there are no true patriots in their government that will stand and fight for what is right.

They allowed themselves to become this way by willingly giving up freedom piece by piece, all for the sake of comfort. Now socialism has completely engulfed them and it's there to stay for the foreseeable future.

The problem with England is, even their most "conservative" citizens don't want to give up any of the government teats they have suckled on forever. They have abandoned liberty in the pursuit of "security" and comfort and not one if them is willing to make the necessary sacrifices to achieve liberty.

The UK has been so indoctrinated with social welfare for 100 plus years that they can't fathom what to do with the responsibility that a real, free, society would entail. Those people are lost unfortunately IMO.

Mark Of The Beast

Its amazing that for 2,000 years Christians have told you this was coming, yet they were just followers of a guy that never existed

Pro Tip: the guys developing these technologies are atheists. They will use them to imprison you. You have another path forward

Your explanation indicates that the UK is an excellent case study on how to implement a socialist society without the need of a bloody revolution (like the Bolshevik Revolution, Chinese Civil War, etc.). A perfect example of a slow, steady death by a thousand cuts.

I agree that Europe should be left to stew in their own juices, but I can’t help but feel a little sad to see the lands of my ancestors and the continent that my great-grandfather and grandfather fought in the world wars for collapse to the Muslim hoards (and by their own choice).

The only hope is for the youth to wake up and start a new revolution that over several decades undoes the damage. Unfortunately, you need free speech and debate to allow that to happen, and most these "western nations" really don't allow true free speech. It is only a suggestion to keep the citizens pacified, until that speech threatens to upend the current order of things.

When you really think about the founding of our nation, our Founding Fathers were brilliant. They enshrined a rule of law that said our rights were inherited from our creator and not from the government. For all of our faults, we are far better off in the USA right now than anyone in Europe IMO.

While socialism has slowly crept into our society here, it is having a uphill battle on establishing a strong foothold because of our culture and liberty. Our rights enshrined by the constitution really has slowed down it's advance.

I agree 100 percent. My visit to Australia earlier this year made this loud and clear to me though I knew it already. I was shocked at the deplorable state they had become since I lived there 20 plus years ago. My wife (no pics) even told me after our return that she will always love the land from where she came, but could not stand to live there again.

My college-aged nephew and I talked a good bit about the state of society in our two countries. I remember telling him that if he remembers anything from our conversations, is that what Australia needs is a strong first amendment protected by a strong second amendment. Unfortunately, they threw that opportunity away forever in 1996.

Never, ever give up your right to owns guns. That is a hill worth dying on. It may be the hill to die on.

This is coming to the US, starting with the Real ID. The surveillance state led by Peter Theil, own Trump (and own Vance even moreso.)

Not that the left is pushing back, Biden admin used Palantir to scrape bluetooth through everyone’s cellphones during covid for contact tracing and identifying dissidents.

They are currently building a parallel banking system through the block chain which will log and store every transaction you ever make forever to be utilized by the government for whatever purposes they want, presumably to implement Curtis Yarvin’s CEO model which discards the constitution and establishes an American monarchy.

None of this is hidden or really even denied they speak about it openly.
