Disney of old would not have tolerated that by an employee.

I don't think they did tolerate it. Customer Relations asked me for her name. They were overly apologetic.

I think it's just a few cast members.

They went fruits and nuts a long time ago. Not a place for traditional families at all.

Ya' think?
You got any idea who owns Disney? I'm not gonna tell you because you'll learn a lot more if you'll just google it.

they stated as much from the get go

universal allows them though last i checked

I love how they’re still clinging to some notion that there’s a any effective difference in any of this bullshite.

Whole experience sounds miserable.

Go to Yahoo finance. It's not that hard and I was incorrect. It was 19-20 fiscal year that they lost 10 billion. Their profit was 1.9 billion last year. Down from 12.5 billion

I arrived at Disney Wilderness Lodge at 8pm, late because American Airlines lost my luggage. Front desk tells me they can't honor my reservation because they overbooked. I tell them, "Give me my fricking money back," and "Call Walt's sons, I want my Disney Park money back too."
My wife talks to them and they give us a room. I guess they had one?

Ok, someone explain over booking to me like I'm 5. It's not just a disney thing, though you'd think they'd manage that better.

Is it them allowing rooms to be booked based on a guess as to how many people will actually check in on a given day? Seems haphazard at best.

One of the better properties.

Disney HAD amazing customer service in it's prime. Unfortunately, they are becoming more and more just another money grubbing money trap. Universal is more Disney than Disney now.

They always keep rooms open for unexpected VIP guests.

I worked on the Caribbean Beach Resort for Disney. I hate the Corporation, but enjoy the parks. Especially when I realized that my Construction Supervisor Parking decal let me into the Employee Parking Lots and into any park I wanted to get in, including my family.

Because of that access, my site super and I went to every restaurant in every park for lunch during our work weeks. We were there for three years.

Then turned around and sued them for seven million dollars .....we controlled the room in the lawsuit.

Maybe because in March of last year they were $201 per share and now they are $138???? And my eyes tell me bad things are happening

you are only required to wear a mask on a tram or indoors at both parks, which is the case at just about anywhere in the US

Say what? Not even close to being true, especially now that our esteemed government overlords and highly unbiased media are claiming they don't work. I haven't worn a mask anywhere in Shelby County since last summer. Maybe things have changed but I've been to at least a dozen cities for work since last summer and wore a mask indoors in exactly zero of those, including San Diego, Baltimore and Minneapolis.

I also went to Disney for my nephew's 5th birthday/Fall Break. Overall, Disney employees were fine at all parks other than Magic Kingdom. The absurdity of wearing a mask on Splash Mountain still makes me laugh but the funnier part was the idiot yelling (and yes, he was yelling) at guests to pull their masks up while he had his pulled off to yell. You really have to love the irony of it all.
