Umm I’d say more than a few million Americans would care.

Shut it down then eliminate waste before opening it back up

Just to be clear, are we ok with this because we’re admitting the blame will be on Trump and the Republicans?

But I know they will eventually do what they always do, sign a bill that gives us back pay for days lost.

They don't even have to do that. I think it's in the law that if they do not provide advanced notice of a government shutdown, they cannot withhold pay.

They don't do shite anyway.

While I believe the scope of the Fed Gov has ballooned tremendously and is riddled with waste, this is an extremely ignorant comment. There's a ton of good that the Fed Gov does that we need.

I think those serving in the military would prefer a paycheck. So they might care.

I’m ok with this because I’d rather shut down a bloated government, that will only effect very few people, instead of caving into the demands of illegal aliens.

Why do you support the demands of illegal aliens over funding the CHIPS program and military? Think about the children dying in the streets!

It may inconvenience me because HUD is shut down and it affects housing transactions but I can live with it if it means a permanent fix on other issues.

A little inconvenience beats a shite deal we are stuck with for the rest of our lives.

Yep, just like all National Wildlife Refuges and National Forests are technically closed. Federal wardens patrolled Sabine, Cameron Prairie, and Lacassine NWRs in Louisiana in the last shutdown.

In 2013 the military was paid on a week to week basis not exactly ideal when most budget for bi-monthly. Not saying they will die, but it was a huge pain for a lot of my guys. A lot of missed rents and car payments.

That was Obama trying to make sure people suffered. It cost more to put up barricades and signs than it did to leave them open.

Ovomit tried to make the shut downs as painful as possible, with the media highlighting the pain.

That was the case with Obama. Shutting down National Parks and National Monuments. Trump is leaving them open with limited staff. You may not have all the restrooms and such open but you are still able to visit. This is a complete 180 from what Obama did.

Nope, Mick said the Trump admin won’t weaponize the government against the citizens to infleclt intentional harm like the Ovomit admin chose to do

I am for shutdown, BUT, don't forget, always in the past, when there was shutdown, FedGov employees were paid their full salaries regardless of how much free vacation time they got.

I against this Paid Vacation Scam, because it is a SCAM.

Yep and with the exception of essential employees, it should count against their PTO. Make those democrat fed gov employees squeal like pigs
