I’ve only met one. He was my interpreter while deployed in Baghdad, Iraq. He was originally from Iraq and was a Christian. I always thought it was interesting that he spoke Aramaic, which is not uncommon for Christians in that part of the world.
Anyway, if all middle eastern Christian’s are like him, then I say let them in. Really good guy. Loved the US and simultaneously felt bad for his people, even family members, still living in Iraq.
As best I can remember, he grew up in Iraq and hated it. He was determined to get to the US and found a way. I don’t recall how he did it. I just remember him saying he got to the US in 1978. But whatever. Dude was a cold-blooded, US of A, classic rock loving, Arab looking mfer. He embraced America. Pretty sure he wanted to be the guy who let the floor out from under Sadaam when he was executed.

Not accurate, he’s claimed to be a Christian several times in the past. We all know he’s a liar, but he claims it to be so.

Given the support you have received from evangelical Christians in particular, do you consider yourself to be an evangelical Christian and, why or why not?
I grew up going to church with my family in New York City. My parents taught me the importance of faith and prayer from a young age. Though I was confirmed at a Presbyterian church as a child, I now consider myself to be a non-denominational Christian.

Are we also lumping in Egyptian Copts into all of this as well.....or are we just talking about Marionites, Antiochian (Syriac) and Chaldean types?

Great people, know a lot of them, Egyptian Coptics, Aramaic, Syrian, Jordanian etc...
Knowing them... makes me more anti Islamic.
Also we need a new term, its not Islamophobia its Islamomisia, I hate the religion, and I hope that those enslaved by it escape it.

He clearly shares many Christian beliefs, yes has gone to church, and his wife is Catholic, but what I said is accurate. He does not believe he will go to Heaven and has publicly said so.
You are incorrect.

No one ethnicity or nationality in the eastern Med is trustworthy in business deals PERIOD from my experience.

Well we all agree he would go to hell, but that doesn’t change the fact he claims to be Christian, and that quote I gave you is straight from the White House.

Arab Christians
If you're in Louisiana, there are several. For instance: Boustany, Busada, Stoma...all names fairly common around Acadiana. These are all Lebanese names.

Arab/Palestinian Christians are the first Christians. Unless you're just going on skin color why would anyone have a problem with them?

He can go to Heaven just like anyone else. All he has to do is believe.

You are free to believe whatever you wish. He clearly is not a Christian based solely on his own public statements, but you obviously think you've got something here so go off I guess.
He is easily the most Christian-friendly president we've had in a very, very long time, even among those who you probably believe are Christians.

No. The problem is anyone can claim to be Christian.

I grew up with Arab Christians in Garyville, Louisiana. They were Lebanese.

I don’t have problems with Arabs who don’t have problems with me.

The difference being that their voters actually expect them to look out for the interests of Christians.

Yup. We have a bunch of Lebanese Christians in Mississippi

No. My mom’s best friend married a Catholic from Lebanon. He’s good people.
