I dont have a problem with non citizens being deported over support for terrorism.
Neither do I. I was just trying to get a read on whether people thought that all Muslims supported terrorism.

They don't openly do that until they are in the majority, and in positions of power.

You don’t have to be blind to have disdain for Islam.
Would you like to be a Christian dropped into the middle of a Muslim country or a Muslim in America?

So, there is no right to a hearing for someone here on a visa before the government deports them? I thought immigration judges had to sign off on a deportation.
Surely there is someone who knows immigration law on this site. Maybe it is different between temporary visa holders, like this professor, and permanent visa holders?

There will be no reply to this. It's caused him brain freeze.

Given the options, generally it would be much better for a Muslim in America...unless it were next door to Jizzle.

Fantasy seems to bring you comfort, so enjoy your superstitions, I suppose.
It's perfectly in character for you to be unable and/or unwilling to recognize a greater existence than your own, Hanky. I do feel sorry for you. Your personality, and the esteem to which you hold your formal education has berthed pernicious beliefs that if not corrected will lead to torment.

That was an easy answer. Why would that cause me brain freeze? America's freedom of religion is one of the many things that makes our country great.
Of course it's in the Lord's hands, but I think we're at the beginning of Christian revival in America. I have already seen that spread to some Muslims. Irrational Muslim bashing hurts Evangelism.
Last comment I will make on religion in this thread.

This. Pretty much all of them support terrorist groups, despite what they may say. Remember, the Fort Hood shooter was a "respected Muslim doctor" too.

The complication is that she was re-entering the US on her H1-B visa. Now that she has been removed from the United States, I don't think the judge has the power to force the government to bring her back from Lebanon.

Do you personally know ANY Muslims? None of the dozens of Muslims whom I know support terrorism. Granted, 90% of them are Americans.
ZERO of my Muslim friends are anti-American or hate Jews.

They're not stupid. They just don't mind it.
Not sure which is worse.

Ok. That makes more sense.

I hope we can agree on that, but some here have such a blind hatred of Muslims, I am not so sure they think that.
Blind hatred implies that it is hate directed at Muslims without reason. In reality, it isn't even hate, it is simply a conditioned response created from years of witnessing terrorist attacks targeting innocent people. And that conditioned response is precisely what terrorists desired from their attacks.
So because I have the common sense to see Muslims as a threat, I am supposed to be the bad guy even though that is exactly what they wanted?
Posted on 3/17/25 at 12:01 pm to IvoryBillMatt
The Muslims I've known were all Persians who HATED the Ayatollahs.

Of course, you're not a bad guy. This is an opinion board. We have different opinions. You believe all Muslims are terrorist supporters. I don't.

It gets muddled on this board.
The real enemy is people who look more like we do.

Do you personally know ANY muslims from majority muslim countries, or who live in majority muslim enclaves where they are the law? Because pretty much the entire free world has been having to deal with this brand of muslim, which entails bombings, murders, acid attacks, stabbings, honor killings, beatings, and sexual assault.

This should tell you something, but apparently it doesn't.
