Why get rid of the whole state? You could just dump the LA San Jose area from California and it would be a great conservative state. Dump Seattle and Washington swings red. Dump NYC and NY goes red, Portland dumped and Oregon becomes sane again, Minneapolis St Paul gone bam Minnesota becomes conservative

Minnesota, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont and Delaware would be my top candidates. Other than New Mexico, none of these have much in the way of resources that we would lose. And we would still get to use New Mexico’s oil and gas because it would have nowhere else to go. Getting rid of any of these would cost us little in the way of tax base, but would eliminate two reliably democrat senators. To pick three I would have to study them more.

They just need to do better politically.
You sound naive enough to believe that will somehow happen.
You seem to to think they are wanting to work with the other side. They want to eliminate the other side.

NY , California and Illinois. That’s 100 electoral votes that democrats get every year

Remove Texas and to hell with the rest of the states in the Union. We can become our own stand-alone country free of the political dynamics that so plague our country today. The writing is on the wall, as we persist as a state within this republic, things are only going to get worse.
If we can't leave (which I know we can't/won't), boot California, New York and Minnesota.

Texas is full of illegals and Muslims you’d fail quickly.

Why would I want to get rid of 3 states? Because I don’t agree with them politically? So I become a pussy and just give up on them? Frick that, America is great. They just need to do better politically.
There's no reconciling differences with the kind of people running for political office and voting in some of these states. We're not going to vote our way out of this.

So your answer is for America to give up and let 3 states leave the union? fricking pussy.
