I don't have a problem with redacting. Especially if the law allows or direct them to redact. What I have a problem with is the 115,000 employee DOJ saying "yeah, we didn't have time to do what you passed a law specifically to make us do."

If the document contains victim names then they should’ve just redacted the names and not the thousands of words that aren’t names.
I’m an attorney and have seen plenty of legal productions. I’ve seen plenty of documents with redactions for privilege, for personally identifiable information, for sensitive financial info, for trade secrets. What I’ve never seen is a 100 page document that is 100% full page redactions.

I will just say it one more time. What's left of the files will be a nothing burger...except to maybe embarrass some newly mentioned married men cheating on their wives, but not committing any crimes.
Non release of all the files is just an unforced political error...especially after Bondi rolled out the binders. Release what you can. Move on. It will never silence the Dems, but it will help with Independents.
