We didn’t need her getting a check obviously

Not that easy.

Well, she can always quit if she doesn't like the terms of her employment.
Correct answer.

The sense of entitlement from some people is astounding. The WFH issue really seems to bring it out of many of them.
If you don't like the commute to work maybe you should work somewhere else.

Meanwhile, most of America has continued to get their arse up and go to their office every day while also having to get their kids to day care/school and pick them up.
I'm beginning to think covid was really a brain virus and it really fricked up people's ability to reason.

What I love about all these home workers going back to office?
When I take a day off I can get shite done without everything being so crowded by WFH abusers running around doing chores.

Find another job if you’re not happy with having to go to the office.

We all figured out child care and commute. Give me a fricking break.

If you're "working" remote, you should already have child care taken care of. If you are WFH and don't have childcare you aren't working.
Idk, I worked remote this past snowmageddon. 7 and 8 year old were out of school. Get up and get them a snack once in a while or help with a math problem. I don't see the issue.

Working from home and being a daycare. Exactly why this crap has to end
Person was willing to take less money and that department has yet to find someone who can do what they could. I get what you are saying but in some cases I don't mind the work from home.
They worked in an essential department and that department has struggled since the departure. Again...they were not making 100k a year. Having them work from home and take less money would have benefitted both parties. Plus this was just until the kid was old enough for daycare.

Maddening. The entitlement, on so many different levels is maddening.

I have good news for you. She thinks her value as an employee is of high value. Once she quits, cannot find a job making equal or better money, begins to lose her home, her car, her kid's private schools, etc., she will still blame it all on DJT47. This begins a personal downhill slide for her, which is where you come in.
In one year, she will be sucking dick for beer money. A friendly remittance on your part will be appreciated, and rewarded, with minimal negotiation.

Obviously the WFH program was another way to pay for an un-needed service and their vote!!

Frick these people. When I switched to have my social security check direct deposited I screwed up and gave them the wrong routing number. It took them over six months to fix a simple problem.

Ive been a gamer for 20 years. Vast majority of daytime gamers are WFH and over half of those are "coders"
Its why i have no sympathy on the h1b crap. They probably give 10x the production for 2/3 the cost.

Why do every single one of those social media whores talk with their hands? They all make the same moronic gestures.
