Wouldn’t say he lied. Sounds like they talked about it.
One guy says he cleaned his yard, another guy says he maintained his yard, another guy says he raked his yard big deal.
Any person with a brain understands that trumps point is that forest have to be maintained to control underbrush and fuel for fires and California is not doing a responsible job of that. Mostly due to environmentalist stopping needed projects.

hmm - your decoder ring needs updating. Although one of the things I detest most about Trump is his bragging about his intellect. However this is not one of those instances - he was merely suggesting normal forest management would have prevented the intensity of the CA wildfires. Every person in America with an IQ higher than Maxine Waters knows this to be true, but the ideological cultists in CA refuse to implement common sense forest management schemes - all due to the 'spotted owl" controversy they accepted as their mantra years ago.

So...he speaks to him about forest maintenance and fire prevention, but not specifically about the method that Trump spoke about (that was obviously discussed with him at some point) and this = lie?
