Hey, they fought for the right to fly jets and helicopters, and serve on subs. Sign up like everyone else.
And Pat Schroeder can burn in hell.

Good. I don't understand why the GOP is apparently against it.

Because a civilized society protects it's women and children. Of course leftist would push to draft a woman into a war.

A few years ago this board was overall in support of a mandatory 2 years in the service.

I wasn't posting here a few years ago. I do support a male only military aged draft in times of Declared War. That means when Congress declares war as defined by the Constitution. That would mean no draft for crap like Korea and Vietnam, only for a declared war.

For all this peacekeeping and nation building and military adventurism and all the other crap we do all over the world...all volunteer. Also, I think the States should have some power to decline support from their National Guard units. Army Reserves should answer the call for that. That way the military would need to keep its operations popular.

Women keep voting for D’s, so they reap what they sow! Maybe this will wake them up?

This could be an effective tactic. Send our women to our enemies land to aggravate them to the point of weakening them. Result: Victory

Sure, women should get drafted.

We would only need a thousand or so women because they can kick the asses of 10 to 12 men each. I know it is true because it is in every movie now.

Plus, they are superior in every way. Smarter, better at troubleshooting and anything you can think of. I see it on every commercial.

Hell, it is a great reason to only have an army, navy, air force, marines only staffed by women. A few thousand could dominate the world. Cut costs.

The requirement for men to register should be repealed, but recognizing that will probably never happen I am supportive of requiring women to register as well. Women want all of the benefits of equality but none of the obligations.
