ronricks is going to be suicidal if Trump beats Kamala. He's been parroting the line that Trump couldn't win for the last 4 years. His life's purpose will be proven wrong.

If this is anywhere close to accurate then Harris will not be the dem nominee. They aren't going to publicly humiliate Biden in order get him to drop out because they don't think he has a chance, to only replace him with someone that also doesn't stand a chance. There's no way that Harris is the replacement if the dems internal polling shows anything close to this.

That’s why every state should go to the Maine/Nebraska model.

Every state should matter to some extent.

I hope cackles is stupid enough (she is) to debate Trump.

He will challenge her to a debate. Even the left-leaning media will want to see this. Mostly for ratings, but they will be correct that anyone seeking the office must be able to articulate their policy positions on the national stage.

Side-bar- I thought CNN did an exceptional job with the last debate. They did run a little cover for Joe late in the round, but by that point even I felt like he needed a life-line.

She can't simply decline. Whatever language her campaign uses to say "no" will be turned into a political ad with every US adversary on the other end...

Kremlin: "Putin wants to discuss Ukraine"
White House: "Mrs. Harris is unavailable"

China: "Pin would like to discuss Taiwain"
White House: "Mrs. Harris is concerned with the future of democracy"

etc. None of that will fly. She will debate.

On the weekend before Trump/Biden, all of the major networks were showing polls in the swing states. Most were in range of 6-10% favor of Biden.

That's not what I recall. If anything it was a being reported as a dead heat or slightly favoring Trump.

I guess it could be an outlier, but here's one immediately prior to the debate.

"New Emerson College Polling/The Hill state polls find former President Donald Trump with a slight edge on President Joe Biden in-

Arizona (47% to 43%),
Georgia (45% to 41%),
Wisconsin (47% to 44%)
Nevada (46% to 43%),
Pennsylvania (47% to 45%),
Michigan (46% to 45%),
Biden splits with Trump in Minnesota (45% to 45%)."

Kamala is a trial balloon..... if he numbers falter between now and the Dem virtual roll call in august, the delegates will "vote" for someone else

None of these polls will matter until things settle down. Only after the nominee is somewhat settled, and about $100 million in advertisement has been spent, will the polls be germane.
Yep. And once she starts promising even more free shite, she'll pull ahead.

People just don't seem to understand how many idiots live in this country. Being black, a completely unimportant factor, is going to flip a chunk of black votes back to blue and secure the rest. Being a woman, an unimportant factor, is going to majorly influence the women's vote who know nothing about politics. Thats most women btw, almost every single unmarried cat lady as well. Useful idiots are in abundance, and it matters enough to swing an election. This is a nightmare, kamala harris as president would have to be the end of the west.

800 people is not a big enough number sample, remember, the Peoples Pundit always says polls from 500 to 1000 are just nor representative.

I am certain of one thing----there is a 0.00000000% chance of Trump winning a majority of the national vote. Plurality, sure, but smaller now that its Kamala.

No shot whatsoever at a majority.

I’m so glad you were wrong. It wasn’t an outlandish prediction but I’m so glad you were wrong.
