No, because she still floored it.

After she was shot, I suspect she reflexively hit the gas pedal and steered off to the left, then hitting the parked cars.

You mean her dead body lost control at around 10 mph and drifted into some parked cars?

...and if the stupid bitch wasn't flooring her car toward the agent, she wouldn't have continued forward. Even after being put down.

He probably would have been in a better position to react if hadn’t of been recording with his cell phone…

stop with the drama. she in no way was trying to run over him. she might be a lesbian liberal bich, but she did not attempt murder. emotional kids on both sides.

he should have stepped aside and detained her later.

He did actually step to the side, after he saw and heard the psycho gunning the car towards him. That could have been her trying to escape or run him over, both putting her in the wrong.

The only reason the agent wasn’t killed is because the Honda Pilot lost traction when she floored after shifting from reverse to drive. That gave him a split second to get out of the way and then make a terrific shot.

So if someone is in the wrong, murder is justified. Got it !!!!

When was that going to happen? She would still be alive if she minded her own business and didn't have her car perpendicular across the street. Her actions are what caused the altercation.

I keep seeing this “shoot her tires out” argument. You think this is a James Bond movie or something?? You think he had time and/or the line of sight to shoot her tires out when he is about to be smashed in the split second she went from reverse to forward and he was just a couple of feet from her front bumper. From his cellphone footage can you see the tires when she is heading towards him?

Watch the video....the partner TOLD HER to do what she did. She should be arrested as an accessory to assault.

He should have finished taking that last half step to the right that he was taking anyway, and not shot anyone.

That is what the jury is going to say, too.

Totally agree. But that doesn’t make her killing justified.

He could have let her go and arrested her at a later time. Doesn’t seem she was afraid to be seen in these protests.

Any time that they wanted.

He had already circled her vehicle twice, taking a video of everything from her license plate to windshield registration information.

it would’ve taken about 30 seconds to find her.

What alternate reality are you living in? Not saying it's justified, but 100% HER fault.

Seems cut-and-dried to me that the officer acted in self-defense, but I've noticed downvotes everytime someone has stated this.

So, for those who think he acted incorrectly here's your chance. Don't just downvote and run off. Tell us what you think he should've done differently.

I don't think the officers shots changed the course of the vehicle at all while he was briefly in front of it. It is highly unlikely the fist bullet through the corner of the windshield was the kill shot. Afterwards, yeah she was dead behind the wheel.

The lady should have complied for sure, and put herself in harm's way, but the cop was trigger happy IMHO.

Then we agree on the shooting.

She should’ve complied with the lawful instructions of the officers. 90% of Americans would agree with that.

But her failure to do so did not grant this yahoo leave to kill her.

If the person that is wrong as in about to run over another person, then yes lethal force is lawful. You can call it “murder” to feel the void in your heart knowing you are wrong on this one.
