That isn't needed. However, H1B's should never be allowed where there are equally qualified American applicants. The whole H1B idea was/is to bring in folks with unique skillsets, not folks with replaceable skillsets at uniquely low costs.

$83k is 2/3rds again higher than median income in Germany and Britain. It is more than twice the median income in Italy.

So, no it is not poor in the least.

Nope, I'm doing just fine. Baby boomers need to retire and shut the hell up. Get out of the way. They're a giant hemorrhoid at this point.

Most baby boomers are retired already.

Baby boomers, to me are, Vietnam war fighteers (or resisters), Woodstock, but also some had their youth in the Carter era, maybe the start of Reagan.

If you said "quick name five baby boomers, right now, off the top of your head" I'd say. Bill Clinton, George Bush, The guys in the Beatles and just about every 60s and 70s band, the actors in films like Rocky and Star Wars.

These people are all in their mid to late 70s now, extremely few are still working apart from maybe 10 percent way way at the young end of the boomer scale.

Well start talking to your state representatives about reining in college costs. Sooner or later they will get the message.

I see lots of people posting that "their generation" can't buy a home. Things are too hard for "their generation". I ran some numbers
The colums are Year, Median Home Price, Avg Int Rates That year, Median Income That Year, 30 Year Mortgage Payment for Median Home and the % of Household Income That Payment was.

1972 28600 7.83 11120 206.48 22.28%
1973 32500 8.04 12050 239.38 23.84%
1974 35900 9.19 12900 293.78 27.33%
1975 38100 9.05 13930 307.93 26.53%
1976 44200 8.87 14960 351.52 28.20%
1977 48800 8.85 16010 387.40 29.04%
1978 55700 9.64 17640 474.06 32.25%
1979 62900 11.2 19680 608.54 37.11%
1980 64600 13.74 21023 752.15 42.93%
1981 68900 16.64 22390 962.18 51.57%
1982 69300 16.06 23430 935.27 47.90%
1983 75300 13.24 24580 847.12 41.36%
1984 79900 13.88 26430 939.13 42.64%
1985 84300 11.85 27740 857.40 37.09%

2021 380000 2.96 101560 1593.91 18.83%
2022 390000 5.53 92750 2221.72 28.74%
2023 402600 7 100800 2678.51 31.89%
2024 400000 6.8 105800 2607.70 29.58%

The median home buyer between 1977 and 1985 was worse off (payment percentage of income wise) than median home buyer today. The payments were calculated using this formula. M=P[i(1+i)^{n}]/[(1+i)^{n}-1] Where M is the payment (column 5), P is the principal (column 2), i is the monthly interest rate (column 2 divided by 12) and n is 360 month term length.

Im jealous of the real economy, good demographics, minimal government debt and high trust society that boomers were given. I cant lie.

Its too bad yall gave us, 30 trillion in debt, decades of immigration from third world, a fake economy based off printed money, 3 waves of feminism, 21% less whites coupled with growing white hatred. Thanks!

Well I didn't give you any part of that. But if your anger changes a bit I can see you jumping on the democrat socialist/populist train. Because they will extract a pound of flesh from the remaining boomers.

Who decided we needed to build 36 trillion in debt with no plan in sight to lower it? I've never heard a solution discussed. And I damn sure know Obama, Trump, Biden and Trump again have increased that debt. I'm sure Scott Bessent can tell us why it does not matter.

Essentially, our youth are being saddled with debt just to afford a comparative lifestyle to the generations before them...and even then still cant afford it.

These boomers are evil threads always fascinate me.

First, the reality that tens of millions of young people are throwing in on victimhood is instructive and disappointing. The country would be much better off if being a victim wasn't all the rage and super duper virtuous.

But it's the economic arguments that are funnest. Younger generations are lamenting their downtrodden existence while climbing over each other to buy $1500 Taylor Swift tickets.
