To build your case for “gun control”, could you please provide: statistical ratio of [non suicide] gun homicides vs life saving gun uses in the United States.
Basically can you provide proof that more people are killed in this country every year from guns than lives saved? Don’t link me to half-cocked Vox article that provides no factual statistics and only an emotion based argument

The assumption is taking guns away from law abiders is going to do the same for those who do not abide by the law. That is a false narrative. The second error is we can make rules for buying guns, which will eliminate the criminals owning them. We would make it more difficult for the crazies to obtain them. Total house to house search gun confiscation, would diminish gun ownership, but create victims of those to physically superior villains. We are a society which cherishes freedom. The price for freedom is crap like this to happen. We can't prevent auto accidents killing us, or any of the myriad of ways we die unnaturally. Society needs to learn how to protect itself.
