Oh, she did worse than that. She visited American POWs and then told bald-faced lies about how well they were being treated. Some of those POWs claimed that they tried to slip her notes with their names as proof that they were alive but she immediately handed those notes over to the guards, earning the POWs vicious beatings. That was Aid and Comfort to the enemy and a capital offense or nothing is. To be fair, she later denied the part about the notes but I'll take their word over her's any day.
