I hate this too. I don’t share their opinions on these guys at all.
But, if I had to guess, there’s more distrust of police in the community. Some of that is due to historical reasons. But in 2025, it’s irrational.

In Louisiana you can shoot through the door at someone who is trying to get in.

Teenager already got shot.
News portrayed it as a harmless "prank" likening it to "doorbell ditch."
It was 3am and they were a group violently kicking in a front door of a suburban home.
Assaults/Battery labeled now as Pranks for likes and clicks....now Home invasion is a Prank? What's next, poisoning people as a prank?

It already happened. A man was charged with second-degree murder more than a month ago. Not sure how the charge is played out.
I think the argument was the teams had started running, and he found them hiding.
