Yep. Several media have reported that she was "the personal favorite Of Jill Biden, who aggressively pushed her appointment." Which did not need Senate approval. And Jill was campaigning in ....Pittsburg I believe....the day before. Which drew a Secret Service protection squad. Leaving the rally area understaffed.

If the executive branch had any leadership at all she would be relieved of her duties. It would look very good for the Biden administration to swiftly do that.
