Russia hasn't been communist in 35 years. They're an authoritarian kleptocracy headed by a ruthless dictator. None of that makes Putin a good guy but not knowing it does make you a drooling moron.

Russia, and the shite level russian people, are solely responsible for the scourge of communism. Until EVERY SINGLE COMMUNIST IS DEAD, Russia and the Russian people will hold the full weight of the blame.
frick Russia. frick the Russian people. frick communism. Forever. And always.

Who are best friends with communist. Birds of a feather flock together. Hence why they use communist fighters and communist logi support from their communist friends.

Once a communist, always a communist. The only good communist is a dead communist.
The scourge of communism deserves to be completely and totally wiped from human existence.
Russia has been our enemy since 1918 and will continue to be our enemy until every last communist is dead.

A smart person wouldn't use the "it was everywhere" argument unless they were capable of proving it. You can't provide quotes because you're fully aware that you're mischaracterizing anti-Zelensky sentiment as pro-Putin. You're a liar parroting your DU talking points like a good little sheep.

It sounds like you made it to fourth grade. They never mentioned Gorbachev and glasnost? Maybe next year. Or whenever you make it to fifth grade.

Ohhh you mean when the head commie realized oh frick communism doesn’t work and had to scramble to “open up” to capitalism a little?
Still communist!

The only good communist is a dead communist. I’m glad you learned something today!
Have fun holding smoke for team communism and being allied with the scum that is North Korea and Laos
Muh muh muh but but but but but they totally aren’t commie anymoreeeee they they they they totally don’t wanna returnnnn to the glorrry of the ussr!! Noooooo muh just a stwong mannnn!
Again, since you are actually retarded. Communism is bad. Russia started communism. Russia spread communism. Russia stayed friends with communist. Russia using communist to fight. Russia wants to return to the glory of the ussr.
A tiger can’t change its stripes and all that jazz…. Let me guess, you think because the North Koreans are called the democratic people’s Republic of Korea that they are a democratic republic because of the name change
Ps hi Komrade Barron! I know you’re reading this since you are online. How does it feel to not be able to post? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Understanding Russia’s position and concerns about having NATO in Ukraine =\= being pro-Putin. You can believe both that Putin is a really bad guy and that NATO provoked this senseless war. And you can throw into this mix that Ukraine ain’t great either. All these things can be true.
Great summation. Of course, it’s wasted on the fools here.

If the United Nations was working like it was intended to work, there would by now be a UN Coalition Army at war with Russia. Russia would have already been declared an "outlaw" nation for launching a war that was not authorized by the UN. Putin himself would be branded by the UN as an "outlaw" and he would be bound to be tried as a War Criminal.
Whatever good reasons Putin had back in 2022 for launching this war are now gone. He is an outlaw and his war is Illegal.
And, yes, Putin does have an interest in fighting Globo Homo takeover of Russia, I agree with him on that. However, I no longer can believe that this is his primary motive at this point. He's an Invader, a Bully and an Outlaw.

It was the first time since the late 1930s that one sovereign nation/state in that part of the world was invaded by another. That's significant. To write it off as "NATO made them do it" is incredibly flimsy.

I'll jump in here. I'm not on ur list but I've stated many times that I understand Putin's side of things. That doesn't make me pro-Putin, nor do I think he's the boogie man some folks make him out to be.
As far as Putin still pushing war, think about it, the west and Zylenski have pushed this war forwars for 3.5 years and escalated at every turn. As already pointed out, Russia has lost 1 million solders..... no wonder Putin has decided to keep pushing. In for a penny, in for a dollar.

Or I just realize that we (the US) destabilized the region by funding and organizing the Orange Revolution in 2014 which overthrew the democratically elected government and replaced it with puppet leaders forcing Russia to react to protect its perceived military interest in Crimea.

Ironically this is exactly what Russia did in Crimea, Georgia, and Belarus.
Also Obama majorly fricked up on Crimea & Romney was always right about Putin.
The framing of Crimea as “Russia needing to protect its perceived military interest”. Come on man.

See, this is the problem. You know so little about this topic that it's virtually impossible for you even to begin to formulate an opinion of any value.
The most important Russian naval base in the world is the deep-water base in Sevastopol, Crimea. Following the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia and Crimea created several smaller agreements to allow Russia to maintain this deep-water base until a long-term lease agreement was finalized in 1997. Russia agreed to give up territorial claims in Crimea, and Ukraine agreed to the long-term lease of Sevastopol through the 2040s. This base is Russia's best access to the Mediterranean Sea (via the Black Sea) and it is where it houses most of its Western naval presence. Without Savastapol, Russia would have severely limited military access to the Western world.
After the overthrow of the Ukrainian government by the US and NATO allies, Russia amassed a military presence on the border of Crimea to protect its military interests at Sevastopol. Right on cue, the puppet Ukrainian government began discussing ending Russia's lease on Sevastopol, which was a non-negotiable for Putin. Throw in the fact that this new puppet government isn't even technically the government of Ukraine (which Putin argued nullified all prior post-Cold War agreements between Ukraine and Russia),and it is easy to understand why the invasion of Crimea was justified from the Russian perspective.
And, if you want to get some insight into why Syria was such a shitshow - especially as it concerns Russia - the exact same scenario happened when Obama Co. tried to overthrow their government and threatened Russia's naval base at Tartus.

I agree with you. I agree also with those who say that NATO and the USA to some extent provoked Russia by interfering with Ukraine's internal politics. Yes. That happened.
But, now that Trump has been POTUS for some time, Putin has had ample opportunity to work with Trump to correct the past provocations. Putin sees total military conquest of Ukraine in sight, so, he's going for it.
As I said before, the United Nations was founded to stop a national leader like Putin. Under the UN, war is Illegal unless permitted by the UN. Once the UN authorizes a war, then a UN Coalition fights the war against the bad guy. That's how it is supposed to work, but, we know it doesn't work right now.
Even so, if the UN were indeed operating like it is supposed to, IMHO the UN would authorize a UN War against Russia, now that Russia and Putin have demonstrated absolutely no inclination to resolve this matter peacefully.
Russia needs a punch in the face right now, and, Putin's belief is that the USA and Europe won't make that move.
IMHO we are forced to prove Putin wrong.
