His actions as Florida’s governor convince me thus far.

Trump is not a gamble. He was the most consequential President of my lifetime and I was born not too long after WWII. I loved RR but Trump is the man IMHO.

Of course he is. First, it's far from certain he could win again. Second, his tenure was very hit or miss and his administration had a ton of own goals to go with the insane media/left opposition.

I view Trump as a pathfinder. He broke the ground. But at some point we'll have to explain to Americans what we want America to look like in some amount of detail (or pitch why we should break up) - and Desantis is much more likely to be able to do that than Trump.

Trump was great because he defied norms, showed conservatives/libertarians how to battle and forced the leftist crazies to come out of hiding. That stuff is all incredibly valuable, but I'm not sure what's left for him to do now.

Getting in Twitter bitchfits with people like John Lewis, LeBron, and Chrissy Teigen didn’t help.

I want you guys to g back and look at the NAFTA vote. I think it was 1994. Look at the votes cast by the ones with (R) by their names.

The idea that the GOP is pro America is a myth.

And why are we tossing out other conservatives for Desantis? What about Paul or Cruz? Or Carson? Are they just not electable?

By the way, I would add Clarence Thomas to my list. He was marginalized from day one. And, Scalia, who was likely murdered.

Trump was a complete letdown and never came close to measuring up to his loyal fanbase's fictional image of him. He did some good things but he also failed on many more and was a very poor leader considering his inability to get people to follow him.

Imagine being Samuel Adams, Thomas Paine or Jefferson walking into Windsor Castle and telling King George III to frick off. We are starting a new Republic and you better play ball.

We have learned the hard way that is what PDJT was up against. You think any random, yet Conservative Pol going to do any better?????

I've got some old Ron Paul and Mitt Romney votes to share with you.

We need the Bull in the China Shop. Pray tell, in your infinite wisdom, who else can be that Bull???

Everybody has a price or they impeach them gone. I don't think they meant for Reagan to survive. I don't think they will allow Trump. Has Trump even said he will clean shop upon arrival or he thinks he can beat them with a govt stacked with enemies? They made it exhausting and divisive on purpose.

They put on acts of attacks that are just plain ole oppo research-like they did Romney. But once in Trump or any true outsider will be impeached until gone. We need day one clean out of the entire beast and that is hard to do.

If Trump doesn't return I think Trump thinks he looks like a caged defeated bird. Maybe Trump does best being the endorser of the party?

I watched him cut his political teeth in many committee hearings while he was a Rep and he never wavered in his Conservative stances and was always really solid.

Thank you! I agree with this 1000%. I would also add Alito and Thomas Massie to your list but Alito and Thomas are desperately needed on the Supreme Court right now. All the shitheads that Trump appointed plus Robert's aren't really that conservative.

You’re a fool of you think some Republican (DeSantis?) is going to come in and not face the same onslaught that Trump faced. Why do you think the media is already attacking DeSantis?

He must be Happy playing with the Washington Generals vs the Globetrotters.

Who can stand against the most powerful MAFIA Cabal the World has ever seen? That is just the US Bureaucracy BTW, not factoring the Globalist Machine pushing new World Order.

Nobody could have withstood the abuse Trump took, after Trump remakes the establishment, it won’t matter if Desantis bows, all the GOP lite on here going gaga over Desantis is starting to make me wonder. He’s on Levin rn, btw

I guarandaamntee you, Ron Paui might not have been electable (because the people are retarded), but if elected, he would have never, ever played ball with the tyrants. And that is fact.

Desantis entire career has been politics. It’s his life. Reagan, not the case. Trump, not the case.

How many GOP firebreathers have proven false to date…all with lifelong careers in politics?

I appreciate what Desantis is doing in Florida, but I’ve seen this show before. I’m not ready to throw a known quantity away for another shiny maybe.

Turtle and the chamber of commerce which the CCP directs picks the SCOTUS nominees.

Until Turtle and McCarthy and the GOPe gang are gone we are fricked. They never really backed Trump.

We have been fooled so many times. It is best not to look at the shiny hook so fast. The GOPe are very sneaky.

If trump is on the ticket, then trump gets my vote all day. Our Congress bought alot of the media shite in trumps first term. It took years until they finally came around. They squandered that term.

Hell be a pit bull if ge gets in again. Now the nation knows the lies and they know from this administration what's at stake and how evil the enemy is.

I think Trump is acting like he is running because it is natural to be so pissed at what they did to him.

But I think a Hershel Walker or Candace Owens comes out of the mist (with Trump planning this all along) After Trump properly and rightfully saves face.

Primaries are so far off.

DeSantis doesn't lie like Hillary. He says he is running for Governor again.

I love Rand Paul but they would massacre him.
