Biden is a senior citizen who needs to be slowing down and enjoying time with his grandkids. Shame on his loved ones for allowing him to go through with this. It's tough to watch him try to get through a speech.

Remembering how to tie his shoes.

Trying not to get his wife and sister mixed up.

Formulating coherent sentences.

Remembering his current location....

There's a few for starters

Do you have any idea whatsoever how difficult this is?

People really don't know. They don't stop and think about how much is going on right now.

I work in emergency planning and response for a university. We've been in the shite trying not to drown and trying to figure things out for almost a month now. That is at a medium sized university.

I really couldn't imagine the pressure of managing a response like this at the national level for our country.

I don't want to even try imagining that.

At first, I thought this had the potential to be a huge clusterfrick. I was scared to death Bernie or Joe would be our next president on the heels of an outbreak and recession. It is obvious, on both sides, that 45 has done a phenomenal job. Nobody is talking about Biden. There is no way trump is not re-elected imo

Biden is a very weak candidate by anyone's metrics.

He wasn't (and isn't) going to win regardless.

Trump is smart to have daily press conferences with the team. It makes the public more confident and it keeps him the center of the attention. Having Dr. Birx speak a lot is also helping him with suburban women, I believe.
Having Pence out front has helped, too. Pence has been very calm, dignified, and in control. He's been the anti-Trump in manners, but has also been very deferential and praising to Trump at the same time.

I have to think that's winning a sizable chunk of suburban soccer moms over.

Against this, Biden doesn't stand a chance. He's not eloquent like Pence, he's not decisive and bold like Trump. And he can't add anyone to his ticket that's any more than a virtue signaler, and that's useless in a time like this.

I don't think it's hurt at all. Social media is so ramped up with how Trump has failed the American people.
