a puppet is all the dems need. a figurehead who will woo the liberal white women and other idiots while the deep state and commies work behind the scenes to deliver the death blow to our fair Republic.
ETA: look at sleepy joe. the puppet who let obama and that ilk rule from behind the scenes.

I think we’re heading towards an election where both parties will run younger candidates with AI and job protection policies being the overwhelming issue
That completely determines how the election plays out

Joe Biden hiding in a basement and “getting elected” president should dispel any future notion that today’s modern Fundamentally Changed Democratic Party necessarily needs a “great option”.

Prepare yourselves for President Mark Kelly

Maybe.
Honestly, as wild as it sounds, they might have to pull off one of the "celebrity" rumors that come around every cycle.
Someone willing to just be a figurehead and let the party run everything from behind the scenes like they did with Biden.

My prediction for the nominee is Steven A Smith. He is following the Trump model of how Trump went from well known personality to nominee of the Republican Party.
Smith is gaining support now by criticizing Democrats in government who the average Democrat voter is sick of just like Trump criticized the Republicans who we were sick of.
Smith is articulate, youngish, and an outsider without much of a political past for others to criticize.

The media was able to drag Kamala Harris to 75 million votes in 2024.

Unless we can fix the corruption in the election processes it won't matter who they run.

What we have to fear is the "mobilization" of all those names on the registration roles.
those names can vote even after death - they can certainly vote if merely out of the country,

Josh Shapiro.

The weaker the candidate the better, but the electorate is changing in unfavorable ways and most of those people will vote for a box of rocks if it’s on the Democratic ticket.
I worry about the future of this country.

The fight for election integrity is still going on, and the Department of Justice is showing it's willing to get down in the trenches. The push for election integrity investigations will likely ramp up over the summer as well, with the midterm elections coming in November, and a lot is riding on the outcome of these elections.

"Accurate, well-maintained voter rolls are a requisite for the election integrity that the American people deserve," said @AGPamBondi. "This latest series of litigation underscores that the Department of Justice is fulfilling its duty to ensure transparency, voter roll maintenance, and secure elections across the country."

This, as noted, brings the total number of states currently facing some legal pressure to hand over their voter registries to 29.
