This could be the mark of the beast or it could just be to open the door for the mark of the beast. If people willingly accept this then it will make it easier next time. They will think to themselves about how it “saved so many lives” and that anything like it in the future could only be helpful.

Like I said earlier, I think technology advancements, including the internet have been, are being, and will ultimately lead to and enable the Mark of the Beast...
Think about what you can do wit a cell phone, now imagine that technology implanted on your hand or forehead... We are already being tracked through our phones, many pay through their phones, etc... The step is not that far away...
Currency will have to go by the wayside but this virus opens the door for that... "We need a way to pay where we do not have to touch anything. A contactless, point of sale technology that is required everywhere."

I don’t. The Bible is clear that the Mark of the Beast will be accepted willingly and as a sign of obedience and worship. It won’t be a secret or unknown trick.

I still don't believe the mark of the beast is a chip or tattoo or brand in/on the hand or forehead.
The sign of God is obeying his commandments (including not doing regular work on the Sabbath) and it is figuratively written on the hands and forehead of his followers, thus, the sign of the beast that is also written on the hands and forehead of his followers would be the opposite of the sign of God.
In the end time, if you are required to break God's laws to be part of society...

Well, Well, Well.
Not only has Bill Gates shown his support for India's Aadhaar biometric system. According to the following news article from 2018, Bill Gates is going to fund the World Bank to adopt India's biometric system and implement it around the world:
"Microsoft founder Bill Gates said, India's Aadhaar technology doesn't pose any privacy issue as it's just a bio-ID verification scheme. Gates also said that countries should adopt that (Aadhaar) approach because the quality of governance has a lot to do with how quickly countries are able to grow their economy and empower their people. Further Gates said Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is to fund the World Bank to take Aadhaar approach to other countries as it's worth emulating. Infosys founder Nandan Nilekani, considered the chief architect of Aadhaar, was consulting and helping the World Bank on the project. More than a billion people in India have enrolled in Aadhaar, making it the world's largest biometric ID system."
Just last month Bill Gates praised India's Aadhaar system again. But what is Aadhaar? The following is from the official government of India website:
"Aadhaar is a strategic policy tool for social and financial inclusion, public sector delivery reforms, managing fiscal budgets, increase convenience and promote hassle-free people-centric governance. Aadhaar can be used as a permanent Financial Address and facilitates financial inclusion of the underprivileged and weaker sections of the society and is therefore a tool of distributive justice and equality. The Aadhaar identity platform is one of the key pillars of the 'Digital India', wherein every resident of the country is provided with a unique identity."

malaria vaccine, killing 151 African infants and causing serious

operatives forcibly vaccinated thousands of African children against
meningitis. Between 50-500 children developed paralysis. South African
newspapers complained, “We are guinea pigs for drug makers”

describes Gates’ philantropic practises as “ruthless” and immoral”.
In 2010, Gates committed $ 10 billion to the WHO promising to reduce
population, in part, through new vaccines. A month later Gates told a
Ted Talk that new vaccines “could reduce population”.
In 2014, Kenya’s Catholic Doctors Association accused the WHO of
chemically sterilizing millions of unwilling Kenyan women with a phony
“tetanus” vaccine campaign. Independent labs found the sterility
formula in every vaccine tested. After denying the charges, WHO
finally admitted it had been developing the sterility vaccines for
over a decade. Similar accusations came from Tanzania, Nicaragua,
Mexico and the Philippines.
A 2017 study (Morgensen et.Al.2017) showed that WHO’s popular DTP is
killing more African than the disease it pretends to prevent.
Vaccinated girls suffered 10x the death rate of unvaccinated children.

How do you mean? The multinational corporations who created your digital identifier to track everything you do online will do so regardless of where in the world you are currently residing, so yes, I’d classify it as an international digital ID.
