Anyone who starts off their anti-trump rant with "im a trump supporter"..... isn't a trump supporter. It's normally just a liberal playing pretend.

Yeah, I’ll be interested to see us “call off” a viral pandemic. Wish someone had suggested that earlier

Yeah, until Federal orders are put in place. The commerce clause has repeatedly been shown to have significant power over states, as decided by the Supreme Court over and over again.

Yesterday that was the big headline.."Trump WANTS to be open for Easter"..All the dingalings were going crazy..I posted Trump's youtube video that shows him saying.."I HOPE to be open for Easter..I made a comment saying "big difference between the words "WANT" and "HOPE"..Soon after the headlines read "Trump hopes to be open for Easter"...And I agree that Trump is trying to be positive..

This COVID is no worse than the flu.

The hype is worse than World War Two, but the virus is just another flu bug.

Enough. Get America back to work!

Hasn’t he just said that is a “goal” or he “would like it to happen then”. I’m paraphrasing.

Aren’t leaders supposed to push us to achieve things that might seem impossible?

Maybe we miss that by a few days or even some weeks.

But don’t we want a leader that is thinking positively?

I have read:

'I voted for Trump but this time he is wrong' about 23,517 times since he was elected. And a few weeks later we learn that Trump was right.
Don't you people ever learn?

97% of the time, those people who say that are lying. They didn't vote for Trump. They just pretend they did because they think they it helps them manufacture opinion against Trump.

The OP is a disingenuous tard

Trump literally said at the PC yesterday that he will listen to Dr. Birx and fauci as to when guidelines should be eased

if you look at most of the states, there are only a few where the virus has taken hold. Even Louisiana with it's near 1800 positives, and to date 65 deaths isn't a lot when you think about 4.5 million people who live here. All the states surrounding Louisiana have far less positives. Louisiana is keeping a running total of how many people test positive, they don't even know how many have recovered from it. Or how many people are being treated at their home. When this is over, it's going to be evident that this virus was blown way out of proportion, and be no worse, and probably not as bad as any other flu or virus that goes around every year.

Damn, you are dumb.

I was referring to calling off the social distancing policy we are currently following. It's ridiculous that this needs to be explained to you.

All these bodies piling up will make it difficult to get down the road anyway.

May as well put it off for a few months and use snow plows to clear them.

Yes. It is an aspirational goal and unlikely to be a "full" reopening. Different states and regions will be at different parts of their curves. Good news - California and New York are likely to be well past their peak. A huge portion of our trade and industry flows through there.

Other big states (Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas) are also getting there as well. Just those 5 states are well over 1/3 of the national population.

He talks too much. He's a great American President but he's got a pre teen / teenager vibe to him that's embarrassing. He needs to grow up and shut up and he'll get elected in a landslide. He's his own worst enemy.

I agree 100%. I havent disagreed with his policy decisions regarding this situation (or much else) but the shite that rolls out his mouth is just bullshite sometimes. He said yesterday he thought the Spanish Flu killed 50% of those infected and we didnt shut the country down. IDK wtf he is talking about sometimes.
He seems to be vacillating on how serious of a threat the virus is and has gone from not taking it too serious, too the oval office speech and back too it doesnt seem that serious. Those like me that havent already made up their minds already and are listening to what he and other leaders have to say are getting mixed messages.
