seeking asylum is legal.
Yes it is when you present yourself to the us consulate and apply...
When you join a mob numbering in the thousands crossing national boundaries with the express goal of entering in the US without visa's...
that makes it something other than political asylum...

Lol. That might be the quickest that I've seen an argument fall apart.
So, in your mind, economic adversity is valid grounds for seeking asylum?
In your world, how many such asylum seekers would you allow then? 100 million per year? 1 billion? Every human being on the planet not already a U.S. citizen?

My question is...what are they seeking asylum from?
Every year my church, along with dozens...if not hundreds, of other churches send teens/adults on trips to Guatamala and Honduras etc. I have never been to cent america but do plan on going at some point but are the asylum seekers trying to get away from such a violent or repressive govt that....maybe churches should reconsider their mission trip locations due to safety, or is the caravan asylum for purely economic reasons?

Wow, you're extra stupid.
Congrats, neither the woman or the reporter know what they're talking about.

I think the question is, are these people really seeking asylum, or have our enemies found another way to destroy us, using our own prosperity and benevolence against us?

Are you willing to sow discord in our country over 7,000 people that are crossing 1000s of miles through another country to seek asylum in this country?

SEEKING ASYLUM THREE COUNTRIES AWAY IS NOT LEGAL.
Do you willfully ignore this fact, or are you just retarded? It is ILLEGAL to leave Honduras, walk through Mexico and present yourself for asylum in the United States.
Link?

And how has that been disproven? Because the person in question is the one that released data to say otherwise?

Asylum from what?
Just because someone claims to seek asylum doesn’t make it legitimate.

She should've said asylum was offered by Mexico and they turnex it down.
They are not seeking asylum.
That argument falls apart just as quick, and it's not some random lady in an interview.

It falls apart every time the caravan enters a new country and does not seek asylum in that country.

Serious question. Is an asylum seeker that is three countries away from the target country (USA in this case) not allowed to apply for asylum at the US embassy in their home country?
It just seems stupid to walk 1100 miles to find out you don't have an internationally acceptable reason to be let into a country. Economic hardship doesn't open the gate.

CNN reporter says "seeking asylum is legal."
But no one in the caravan has a legit asylum argument/case

One of the women says illegal immigration concerns her because of the Caravan. She says she's all for people immigrating the legal way. If they immigrated the legal way then they are "more than welcome." CNN reporter says "seeking asylum is legal." The New Jersey woman causes for a solid seven or eight seconds, bewildered by this information, then says "well il hope we change that."
Lol. That might be the quickest that I've seen an argument fall apart.
Pointing out that wannabe immigrants are abusing the assylum requests and calling that "legal" pretty much encapsulates the frustration that people have with illegal immigration in general.
That you don't recognize this is EXACTLY why the left is viewed as the opposition.
