Good luck telling this board that, pastor.
They're defending the video saying that God made all of us.
Then in the next thread they call him God Emperor.

I would say it differently for myself.
I would say, "Can't say I'm surprised much by this."
Trump is a much better alternative than Biden, but all of the criticisms that he is highly narcissistic, etc., are obviously true.
And his Trumpanzee supporters really are cult-like.
So whether this was his idea or their idea, it isn't surprising. So yeah, it doesn't bother me b/c it's exactly what I would expect.

Anyone who doesn’t get this is an homage vid is getting owned.

Well, yeah. God made all of us. All of us regular people as well as God Emperor Trump.
See how that works?
It's a bit of a slippery dodge.

I don't think anyone's getting owned, then.
Everybody understands that it's an homage. Heck, it says that in the link.
That doesn't mean that it's not also delusional.

It’s an homage vid that is aimed at farmers in Iowa.
It’s not blasphemy, it’s not delusional but just a brand of messaging that some don’t get or pretend to not get.
Fake outrage is embarrassing .

I'm not outraged because I'm a non believer.
If I believed in the Bible and its teachings, I would be outraged.

Not a believer either, but it’s clear you’re not grasping the context.

If you think that the point if the video is to say that God created Trump and everyone else; you're being purposely obtuse.

Bible thumpers probably should sit this one out. These are the same people who quietly look past Biden or Pelosi who claim to be so religious yet are super pro abortion.
Take the L and move on.

Are they?
I don't spend a lot of time on here talking about how Biden and Pelosi's faith claims are dubious because I assume everyone I'm talking to already believes that. My guess is that a lot of conservative evangelical pastors are in a similar boat. It just doesn't occur to them because it's "preaching to the choir."
Now, you can argue that folks like this who are sought out for comment about Trump but never about Pelosi are playing into our media's hands, but how it comes off politically probably shouldn't be their foremost concern.

Then, Trump really is literally Hitler. In a child of God sort of way
Posted on 1/11/24 at 4:39 am to Ribbed
No, because they're not admonishing Pelosi or Biden. That's the point.

Christ didn't spend a lot of time admonishing the sadducees either because they didn't believe the Bible anyway. That's the point. Trump is claiming God's authority, which is the start of a lot of really bad rulers.
