At the start of the conflict, Ukraine had the largest standing army in Europe. Supplied and trained by the US

In fairness, the ferocity of the Ukrainian resistance has been beyond admirable, and they're incredibly resilient and brave. Combine that with the fact that we have supplied them with $250B+ worth of the latest first-world tech, armaments and ordnance including drone technologies and tactics never before used in warfare, and it only makes the fact that Russia is still holding their own in foreign territory even a more impressive and remarkable testament to the resilience of the Bear.
I get what your alluding to in the OP, but don't discredit Russia or underestimate them. They've got a battle-hardened army right now thanks to this war- something they haven't had in decades. And if the Kremlin's intent from the beginning was to completely take the whole of Ukraine as their own, they would have absolutely razed every city in Ukraine to the ground within months.
There's a LOT to this topic.

No. No we are not. What does the UK have to do with this discussion anyway?

This just shows how quickly the war in Ukraine would have ended had we actually participated directly. For years the pro-Russian, anti-American contingent on here had wish casted this idea that Russia was taking on, and defeating, the US in Ukraine. They should feel like complete retards now.

You're an idiot, ever since Russias first invasion the US and the west has been pouring the coals into Ukraine with training, financing, equipment, etc. shite US SF is running whole sectors of the UK military and providing intelligence on Russian movements and targets.
How many F35s and F22s are engaging with Russian assets directly?

Since your tranny brigade has been removed…yeah.
You never answered this question in another post:
Could Biden’s DEI initiatives have benefited you in any way?

Where the hell did I equate it to the US?
He stated the Iranian military was superior to the Ukrainian. That is flat out wrong.
My bad. Misunderstood.

"Keep in mind that they put up virtually no resistance to Saddam Hussein"
You do realize that the war with Iraq was a draw that lasted almost 9 years, right? It was by no means a lopsided affair.

Except we didn't do that. We gave them old scraps, the patched them up and used them and we used the funds to buy the latest and greatest....for the USA.

No, I don't realize that, because that is not a statement of reality.
The two actual wars with Iraq were won relatively easily. We got bogged down in almost a decade of nation building and security AFTER the second war.

When it comes to a nuke superpower, it really doesn't matter what their conventional military is like. We don't need the military we have. We just want the biggest and most expensive so we can have power over the rest of the world and stick our noses in everyone's business. No matter how weak Russia may be, now more than ever, no way we would want to go to war with them.
