Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember hearing Iran's water problem being connected to Israel in the video.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar are producing millions of gallons of water everyday, desalinization seems to work fine for them. I'm not sure why Iran is struggling so much for fresh water?
Pretty simple. They spend their limited resources on weapons development and funding terrorism. Same with their brightest minds. They are laser focused on one objective, the destruction of Israel.

I mean, it was pretty damned impressive until Islam destroyed it, as Islam destroys everything civilized.

I am actually somewhat surprised Moses West hasn't been killed in some sort of mysterious "accident" yet.

They didn’t. Most of Iran’s surface water is taken downstream of major dam and irrigation projects that are upstream in Syria and Turkey. Both are big agricultural exporters now.

It’s funny that they might have to move their capitol.

Tehran is only 60 miles from the captain sea. It is sorta salty, it has about 1/3 the salt of the ocean.

A country that can produce a nuclear weapon should be able to build a desalination plant and a 60 mile pipeline for less than it could cost to move the Capitol…

Dumbasses.

Gotta get over some serious rugged country first like 14000 ft mountains. That's tough even for developed countries

Just curious question for anyone that might know...
How big of a project would it be to provide desalination water for 15 million people? Just thinking of overall cost and power requirements.

In reality Christians ( Byzantines) got to them first. Then as they were about to recover, the Arabs and Islam swooped in. Not blaming the Byzantines but they hit the Persians first. Had to

There's a book called The Last Battle of Antiquity that tells the story of that part of the world in the first 25 -30 years of the 7th Century ( 600 -630). That war sort of directly leads to the Muslim conquest of the Holy Land, Persia and Egypt

Very high mountains - there is one that is over 18000 ft. To the north, and towards the Caspian it's very green country with forests and water . On the Tehran side of the mountains it 's climate is semi arid like CA or NV or Utah

Building a desalination plant is not the biggest hurdle.

They would need help and equipment from outside surces. While Trump is in office, other nations won't violate sanctions to help Iran. Not worth the fallout.
