Unless Kamala has an accident before she is able to appoint a VP, this ain't happening.
People forget that Jerry Ford was never elected as President or Veep. He got appointed VP when Agnew resigned. Harris will appoint someone, and it won't be McCarthy.

Kamala will coast likely unopposed to the 2024 nomination. They're won't be a gaggle of niche entries, namely Buttajudge, Eric Swalwell, Andrew Yang, Joaquin Castro, Corey Booker, et al to muck up the works, nor will former liberal icons like Bernie or "Pocahontas" choose to throw their wampum into the ring.
