There are a lot of great reasons to release this footage but this is the downside to releasing these videos. People are just going to dox random arse people. You have no idea who that guy is. There are tons of people on these videos just randomly strolling past security.

I’ve refrained from commenting about Mike Johnson since he became Speaker and had taken a wait and see approach to how he does things.
This is good. It isn’t everything but it’s an improvement from McCarthy.

There are a ton of people who’ve been “doxxed”, the FBI released pictures and asked for help identifying people.
You don’t question why a random dude is walking alone? Police aren’t paying him attention?
They need to release it ALL, saying they can’t because of “security concerns about building architecture” is BS.

Sorry, I’m NOT buying it.
That is likely footage that is somehow VITAL to either vindicating J6ers who are rotting away in DC gulags, or protecting the FBI FEDSURRECTION that we all know this was based on substantive evidence.
The problem here is that there is next to NO trust from the American public towards Congress, and we know you protect your own.
We KNOW that there is footage being withheld from We The People for a reason other than what you are telling us.
This is precisely the correct response. Nothing but 100% transparency is acceptable. The big indicator here is the line about blurring people's faces to protect them from retaliation. It's a public space. And they've release tons of video already without any of this blurring. Also, do you think they have time to go through tens of thousands of hours of video and blur everyone's face, or is it more likely they have cherry picked video and done some blurring?
If you're not suspicious of what they're going and if you accept this as sufficient, then you're not paying attention.
As long as they blur things and withhold things, the distrust in government will continue.
As usual, the Republicans have found a way to rescue defeat from the jaws of victory.
