I didn’t say he was talking about Kirk. He is talking about Trump supporters characterizing the murders as anything but one of them and implying that characterization is ridiculous because he believes (or more accurately wants people to believe) that the murder is in fact MAGA). Otherwise, he wouldn’t have phrased it as “trying to characterize”. He would have just said that they were trying to use the fact of the murderer not being MAGA to score political points.
