Plaintiff attorneys run our state. This outcome isn’t surprising. They’ll blame the insurers and say that they never got guarantees from the companies that rates would be lowered.

Looking through this thread, plenty of posters with mouthfuls of crow.
It was blatantly obvious during the campaign who was backing him, though everyone was so damn worried about a democrat who couldn’t win a race for dog catcher, they couldn’t see what was right in front of their damn face.
The GOP establishment in this state are absolute frauds. Let’s not forget the culpability they have for backing this piece of garbage even before any other republicans entered the field.

Ehh there’s a mountain of issues flying around. Some have gone great others very not. This issue seems a shite one but tort reform often has two arguable sides and possible negative consequences.

I will say that I was told by a reliable source in late December that Landry had an agreement with the LTLA( trial lawyers) that “tort reform” was off the
table.

yep. Landry on Moon’s show talking about the big, bad insurance companies. It’s like he just walked off the set of a Gordon commercial.
