Well, when she says, "We weren't allowed to just get up there and lie..." she is being quite honest. They really weren't allowed to just lie about s*** when the cameras started rolling. They had to plan and script the lies so they didn't provide obviously conflicting statements that would have been a red flag even to the most unhinged of their followers.

I double majored in journalism/poli sci, graduated in 1987. Wanted to be a famous writer/journalist. I was a reporter and copy editor for a daily newspaper for six years before transitioning to a more lucrative career so my wife could be a SAHM.
I can’t explain how different “journalism” is from my day. It was drilled into us that you don’t press “send” or print or publish a story until you have untouchable and unimpeachable sources backing what you write. You simply didn’t do it. You had to back up everything or your arse would get fired. Integrity was everything.

So, let me get this straight... they couldn't lie because they were tied to NBC. But her 'artist formerly known as MS NBC' is now longer tied to NBC... so how are they better again.
Besides, everyone knows the difference, Joy, between FOX News programs and entertainment/ opinion. Don't try to tell that BS about them not having a Standards department.
