Do you realize, there were Capitol Police standing by where Ashli and other protestors were by that barricade and checked them for weapons, right? They didn't deem any of them a threat , and they left. This coward had to have seen that the police already checked them, and he shot an unarmed woman anyway, instead of, just arresting her.

Should they have just shot everyone there? I mean, every one of them had gone through a barrier.

No, that was their last line. You’ll notice, nobody else tried to push through.

Babbitt, a small 5 ft. nothing woman was climbing through a broken opening above a door.

Her unarmed hands were in clear sight when the Police officer shot her while sticking his gun through a small opening in a wall.

No way that cop sleeps good at night after that!

Meanwhile, Derek Chauvin is surviving assassination attempts in maximum security prison because George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose. I fricking hate what America is becoming.

Ehhh

Derek Chauvin was a piece of shite. He had what, 18 complaints against him? I don’t think it was racially motivated but he was more forceful because he hated George Floyd since they knew each other and had problems. Personal issues shouldn’t enter into that realm. I also don’t think he would’ve died had he stayed in the car. It’s his own fault for getting out but calling it an overdose is meh

That day was a case of “when 2 assholes collide” — As awful as it sounds, let’s call it what it is… Derek Chauvin killed 2 birds with 1 stone that day. Everyone is better off without George Floyd, especially his family with their 8 figure settlement.

You've gone from requesting evidence that Ashli Babbitt wasn't a threat to making up your own facts.

What's the legal argument for an officer shooting when the subject isn't armed and isn't doing anything that is immediately threatening. Is there a "this is our last barrier" exception that allows an officer to shoot to kill from a hidden position?

They don’t know she isn’t armed and breaking through a barrier/door/window isn’t threatening? So if someone did that to your house, you wouldn’t feel threatened? Ok pal.

I'm sorry but are you completley retarded? That was an execution on video of a small woman. The cops literally stood by outside the doorway and let it happen.
You are the worst humanity has to offer.

You act as if she was standing there minding her own business. Why did nobody else get shot? Maybe because nobody else broke the damn doorway?

It's justified if your a feckless little count. (If you're curious what that looks like find the nearest mirror)
Cop was a coward who executed a woman other cops LET through.

Your such a small coward that if armed police let a petite woman go past them to you it would justify lethal force?

It`s plain as day the little woman was unarmed when the cop shot her.

She used her right and left hand to pull herself up in an attempt to go through the opening and her hands were visible to the cop when he shot her

There is no way to justify lethal force.

It was a bad shot and everybody knows it.

The cop so far got away with not even a slap on the wrist.

Let Travon Martin and a white cop take their places and imagine what would have happened.

There is no way to justify lethal force no matter what.

There was also a mob behind her. Once one person gets through, the mob follows. Nobody was getting through there. She also had a backpack on - who knows what she had in there. Given that scene, you really couldn’t rule anything out.

Mob storms a capitol building with VP and other legislators inside to certify an election. Security gets broken down and over run. Mob starts scurrying throughout the capitol without being screened for weapons.

Security sets up a barricade and last line of defense to protect assets in building. Qanon warrior princess breaks door and begins to penetrate last line of defense. Gets shot.

What did she think was gonna happen? Officer would holster his weapon and run away? It ultimately prevented more people from advancing past that line of defense.
