When you only have the two options of retarded or crazy to explain a person's behavior, that person is not someone you should rely on... for anything.

I don't understand why they call it cloud storage. Seems like a dumb name.
From google
What is Cloud Storage?

Cloud Storage is a mode of computer data storage in which digital data is stored on servers in off-site locations. The servers are maintained by a third-party provider who is responsible for hosting, managing, and securing data stored on its infrastructure. The provider ensures that data on its servers is always accessible via public or private internet connections.

Cloud Storage enables organizations to store, access, and maintain data so that they do not need to own and operate their own data centers, moving expenses from a capital expenditure model to operational. Cloud Storage is scalable, allowing organizations to expand or reduce their data footprint depending on need.

How does Cloud Storage work?

Cloud Storage uses remote servers to save data, such as files, business data, videos, or images. Users upload data to servers via an internet connection, where it is saved on a virtual machine on a physical server. To maintain availability and provide redundancy, cloud providers will often spread data to multiple virtual machines in data centers located across the world. If storage needs increase, the cloud provider will spin up more virtual machines to handle the load. Users can access data in Cloud Storage through an internet connection and software such as web portal, browser, or mobile app via an application programming interface (API).

I liked the time she demonstrated how to charge an electric vehicle.
Plugs in cable then stands there and holds it like a gas pump handle.
No fumes or guzzling sound

Bonus. This 2 year old video also mentions that she was put in charge of the southern border.

Rows and floes of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way

I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all

It's called cloud storage because of how those of us who work with networks and IT infrastructure represent the logical concept on diagrams. When data leaves your network utilizing internet connections to reach its destination this traversal of shared networks was and is frequently represented by a cloud image on diagrams. This was true before we began utilizing internet resources in the way we do today and primarily used this space to reach other statically located networks. Once large scale resources began to exist in this space that everyday businesses could utilize on the scale we do today and there was no static network on the other end that could easily be diagramed it was natural to call them "resources located in the cloud" or cloud resources.

Kamala needs to nominate Stacy Abrams as her VP candidate. Then they could also explain to us that we really don't need an agriculture industry because people just go to the grocery store for things like that

So wouldn't it be easier to locate "large scale resources" on the ground, rather than "up there"?

What an imbecile….. really. The more she attempts to speak, on nearly any subject, the more she reveals her ignorance.

I know you aren't being serious and the way she was saying it showed a complete lack of understanding of the concept. She's an idiot.
Shocked face: [on] off

We don't say "up there" the way she did but we do say "up in the cloud" in casual discussion primarily once again when representing this on diagrams the cloud image is frequently at the top above the networks utilizing resources located in this space so its just natural language to use vs more technically accurate cumbersome language.

We also don't say data is "no longer stored in a physical place." The Mulligan's "cloud" reminds me of Obama talking about "red pills and blue pills" and "$50K surgeon fees for amputations," unabashedly idiotic at the most basic level w/o the slightest realization of it.

does anyone know when Kamala made this dopey explanation? I'm curious but I've googled and haven't found out. SHe hasn't spoken recently except from a prepared statement or teleprompter.
