benger/lenger whatever his name met w/ witness and asked if he wanted to amend his police statement.
witness said no.
benger/lenger showed him a pic of ziminski on his cellphone and asked if he knew who that is
witness said no.
benger/lenger said its 'joshua ziminski' and placed the phone down on the desk then picked it back up and said 'do you know who this is?'
witness: confused, said "ziminski?"
benger/lenger said "now would you like to amend your police statement"
witness said "no" and hired a lawyer

The DAs made the mistake of not realizing that this meeting was much more of a remarkable event for him than for them, since they do this stuff on the daily. He’s going to have a pretty clear memory of what happened.

Judge just shut that shite down as he could she it was about to get heated. ADA kept trying to get the witness to cross himself up and the more he failed at doing that, the angrier he was getting.

This is incredible. The cross exam of the witness to this point is entirely for the self preservation of the prosecution. Trying to trip up the witness on his description of their own behavior.

What is so important about the change? Did it matter materially?
Because if he changes his testimony while being questioned, the prosecutor can throw doubt on his testimony in court.

The Wisconsin Bar Association is going to disbar these two assholes before the end of the year at this point if not sooner. What a bunch of corrupt assholes and every case they have ever prosecuted should be tossed out because everything is tainted now.
