If an aggressor sees that you are armed and keeps advancing, the shoot is clean, because the aggressor was going for a gun. . . yours

This is a delaying tactic.
I just thought about this as well. Precisely what they are trying to do. And IF that happens, I would agree with those who think poorly of this decision.
But again, easier to be the lawyer from behind this keyboard than the one in penny loafers and a suit who has been at it for two weeks...... hindsight is always 20/20.
I have a feeling the judge will do whatever needed to make sure that does not happen.
