I would at least object a few times to disrupt tempo, even if there's nothing there (and there barely is which is the entire point of not putting defendant on stand) which is clearly what prosecutor is going for. Judge is going to make a 5 minute statement on every ruling anyway so you might as well

This is where you may not understand juries. I have seen where there is video evidence and they were still not convicted. Juries are a fickle bunch and if you get a couple of them that get political it will turn out bad.

Recently took an Accuracy and Precision class. We went a little off topic and discussed defensive shooting. The phrasing the instructor used when talking about hitting center mass was “you aren’t necessarily shooting to kill. You are shooting this area to quickly reduce blood pressure and reducing their effectiveness”. I had never thought of it in that way.

Juries cannot stand an arrogant and condescending attorney who clearly enjoys listening to himself speak, and in doing so wasting a bunch of the jurors' time. I say allow him to keep digging that hole deeper and deeper.

I guess I was trying to put myself in the shoes of a (good) prosecutor, and seeing how they'd twist things.
Plus, having been 17 once, I can't fathom my folks allowing me to drive around, even if just to and from work, with out a license.

You're shooting to end the threat. You aim center mass because it gives you the best chance at a hit.
