Because we know Donald's just doing this because he can't get over the fact that he lost the popular vote! Sorry but it's the truth. His fragile little ego just can't take it. We know there are not millions of illegal votes and that this is just a waste of time and an invasion of privacy. Resist.

So would the feds be acquiring new information about individual voters, or wouldn't they?

No, the only new info they would have are those people who aren't supposed to be voting. Be it they are dead or illegal, doesn't matter. Some states make it easier for people to commit voter fraud, but they can't rightly ask just those states because that's discrimination.

I wouldn't want to make it any easier than it already is for an Obama or Trump administration to be able to put together my voting history, or for their stooges to leak them en masse. I do trust LA SOS to both not give all that shite Trump asked for to any administration (outside of the basic stuff they sell everyone), or to have the detailed stuff leaked. You do you though

And they could send everything else besides the voting history. But they won't do that either. But I'd assume they want that to see who is benefiting from this voter fraud.

Nah I think you're confusing Instinct rather than ego...

I think Democrats do whatever necessary to try to win elections to them crossing the line moving rules is somehow a moral justification

Exactly what information will they get from this that you are afraid of them having? Your name and address???!!!! Your legal status??!!!! The horror!

They've done nothing to show that they are capable of keeping this data secure. A GOP firm just recently got caught hosting a ton of voter data with no encryption and not even any password protection, and this data is exactly the kind of thing someone who wanted to meddle in our elections could use to plan an attack.

So, if nothing else, the commission's haste to collect all this info in one place would make it much easier for a hostile party to gain access to all of it at once, which is already all the reason any state should need to tell them to frick off. On top of that, though, the fact that President that called for this commission is having his campaign investigated for possibly colluding with a foreign entity undermine the previous election doesn't exactly make me confident that the intentions of this massive data grab are on the up and up.

are you serious right now or just pretending that you don't understand the volumes of new information the feds would get on legitimate voters

Ok, let's say he is. You certainly had no problem with the Dems going gung-ho on spending 100's of millions, 10,000's of people, and months on end to investigate Trump colluding with russia where there was zero evidence.

You obviously had no problem with Obama invading your privacy over the last 8 years giving the NSA and CIA carte blanche to invade everything you do.

Newsflash: Hackers hacked into the voting machines, meaning they may already have your info.

Hackers stole private voter data

So maybe you just shouldn't vote if that's what you're worried about. Because not only is it just as unsafe in the state governments hands, it's also handled by third party companies who own the voting machines.

Are you aware that the Feds already have pretty much everything they need to know about you already?

we get it, you don't want them knowing who you voted for. I think we can safely say we know who you voted for already.

Bathroom server
Podesta we have your emails
DNC server hacked
NSA hacked
CIA hacked

You thinking states aren't getting hacked? All you did was try to dress down Republicans in your post.

I think some people went overboard with the Russia conspiracy. Of course Russia meddled in our election but we did probably spend too much time discussing the Trump connection.

I don't really mind the NSA knowing my business if it keeps America safe.

Good. This is the right response. I don't want my personal information given to these idiots. And all of you Trump boot lickers, I gave that information for a very limited purpose and I didn't authorize it to be redisclosed to the Republican Party or anyone else.
