Meanwhile, your people literally want to flood the western world with Muslims. You’ve done it in Western Europe and you’re actively trying to do it everywhere else. This is effectively semantic. Sure, they can't jail anyone or garner wages to impose fines, but the tribunal is central enough to the culture that your only repercussion if it rules against you and you don't comply is to self-excommunicate.
But this is for what these people signed-up. The rationale for leaving a violent shite hole with not prospects of upward mobility, moving to the land of opportunity, and then immersing yourself in the very culture that drove you to emigrate is beyond me.

The claim was that there are Sharia Law courts operating in Texas. The facts are clear that this is a lie. When presented with facts debunking this lie the response from several folks here is to ignore the facts, spew insults, and double down on the misinformation.

I don't think you have a strong sense of the nature of the Mosque, Imam, Leadership (what we would call an executive board) and the Muslim community. Outside of your radical jihadis that strap-on bombs, these people don't have that many run-ins with law enforcement. But they pray 5 times a day and if they cross the accepted boundaries of the religious leaders, there is punishment and restitution that must be made.
And while not a legal proceeding in the US, these are all but binding within that community. In many ways, the rulings of a "voluntary tribunal" are far more important than some dumb arse magistrate.
So yeah, pull out Blacks Law and tell us all how it really is. Meanwhile, Abdul is paying his Ta'zir and ignoring his parking tickets.
